If you are a resident in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, these countries may not have data protection laws as comprehensive as those in your country. However, we take all necessary measures to protect your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Notice and applicable law.
European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses
We rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers of personal information between us and our third-party providers. These clauses require all recipients to protect personal information originating from the EEA or UK in accordance with European data protection law. Details can be provided upon request.
7. How long do we keep your information?
In short: no longer than one year, unless the law requires otherwise.
We keep your personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. No purpose in this notice requires us to keep your personal information for longer than one year.
When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it. If deletion is not immediately possible, for example because information is held in backup archives, we will store it securely and isolate it from further processing until deletion is possible.
8. How do we keep your information safe?
In short: through organizational and technical security measures.
This site is served over HTTPS. We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the personal information we process. However, no electronic transmission over the internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so we cannot promise that unauthorized third parties will never be able to defeat our security. Transmission of personal information to and from the site is at your own risk.
9. Do we collect information from minors?
In short: no. We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children.
We do not knowingly collect, solicit data from, or market to children under 18 years of age, or the equivalent age as specified by law in your jurisdiction, nor do we knowingly sell such personal information. By using the site, you represent that you are at least 18, or that you are the parent or guardian of a minor and consent to their use of the site.
If we learn that personal information from a user under 18 has been collected, we will take reasonable measures to promptly delete it from our records. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from a child, contact us at [email protected].

You can make such a request by contacting us using the details in section 15 below. We will consider and act upon any request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
Withdrawing your consent
If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw it at any time by contacting us. This will not affect the lawfulness of processing before the withdrawal, nor the processing of your information conducted in reliance on lawful grounds other than consent.
If you are in the UK and are unhappy with how we handled your information
You can complain directly to us, by email at [email protected] or through our contact form. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, investigate without unjustifiable delay, and explain the outcome.

11. Controls for do-not-track features
Most web browsers include a Do-Not-Track (“DNT”) feature you can activate to signal your preference not to have your online browsing activities monitored. No uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will inform you in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
California law requires us to disclose how we respond to DNT signals. Because there is currently no industry or legal standard for honoring them, we do not respond to them at this time.

13. Affiliate links
Warmly Chosen participates in affiliate programs, including the Amazon Associates Program and the Etsy affiliate program operated through the Awin network. Some links on this site are affiliate links.
When you click one of these links, the merchant or affiliate network may place a cookie in your browser. That cookie records that your visit came from this site, so that if you make a purchase, the merchant can attribute it here and pay a small commission. This does not cost you anything extra. The price you pay is the same as it would be if you went to the merchant directly.
We do not receive your name, address, payment details, or any other personal information from these purchases. What we receive is aggregate reporting: how many clicks a page produced and how many orders resulted, with no identifying information about who placed them.
You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not affect your ability to read anything on this site.
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
